Shea Butter Winter Tip

One of our customers here at Purely Shea just contacted us with a winter shea butter tip that she thinks we should share with everyone.

June Mc Graw, of Roseville, Minnesota began using Purely Shea this summer and loves to keep it in her car so she can massage it in before going out in the cold winter weather. Well she called us very disappointed to find out that her Purely Shea shea butter became frozen solid after leaving it in the car during this super cold winter.

We instructed her to bring the container back in room temp overnight. She noticed it was softer but still harder than she liked. We then provided her with instructions on how to properly melt the shea butter to return it to its soft consistency.

I will give specific directions on how to melt shea butter tomorrow. Until then, please remember this tip:

DO NOT KEEP PURELY SHEA IN YOUR CAR DURING THE COLD WINTER OR IT WILL FREEZE!
