Shea Butter: A Natural Skin Care RX for Eczema


Shea Butter is not only used as a superior moisturizer but it can also help with the treatment of some skin conditions such as eczema. We ran across this article in the Washington Post this weekend with the following quote:

“Washington dermatologist Cheryl Burgess said regular use of a good emollient, such as shea butter, can keep eczema totally at bay in some patients. ‘It creates a shield so the patient isn't losing a lot of moisture,’ Burgess said.”
