Shea Butter for Insect Bites & Insect Repellent

As we are all in the midst of summer, enjoying the great outdoors whether it is camping, fishing or day at the beach is great fun. However, your fun can be instantly ruined due to insect bites.

Due to the dangerous toxic chemicals in alot of the commercial insect repellants, people are turning to more natural alternaives such as Shea Butter. Shea Butter is actually an effective insect repellant.

A study published in a French Medical Journal titled Bulletin de la Societe de Pathologie Exotique, Shea Butter was found to be an effective, affordable, and practical means to prevent insect bites.

And if you happen to get an insect bite because you forgot to put on your Shea Butter before going out, remember that Shea Butter has powerful ant-inflammatory properties to stop itching and to reduce redness & swelling.
